Well, I’m kind of new to blogging, but I feel like everyone has a “Things About Me” page.  So, in order to fit in to my new little world, here it goes…

 

 

1.      I was born July 30, 1983 at 6:18 AM in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

2.      If I were born a boy, my name would have been Brandon.

3.      I have used to phrase, “I want to name my kid…” even though I have no intention of ever having children.  Ever.

4.      But if I did have kids, my boy would be named Phoenix and my girl would be Tyler.

5.      I don’t have a middle name.

6.      My favorite TV show is The Office.  I also love So You Think You Can Dance, Weeds, Friday Night Lights, Entourage, Heroes, 24, and 30 Rock.

7.      We Are Marshall, A League of Their Own and Elf and always in my Top 5 movies.  The other two vary depending on my mood.

8.      I once worked on a film called Canvas.  I hate film production, but was really excited to get an IMDb credit.

9.      Because IMDb is one of my favorite websites.  I visit it everyday. 

10. My two cats are named Keiko and Satan.

11. Keiko is named after the whale in Free Willy.  It was one of my favorite movies when I got her.  Keiko (the whale) is also listed in IMDb.

12. I have been to all seven continents.  Yes, including Antarctica.  Twice.

13. If I could travel anywhere right now, it would be Bangkok or Amsterdam.

14. One of my goals is to go to all 50 states.

15.  I have only been to 27.

16. If I could go on vacation tomorrow, it would be to Bangkok, Amsterdam or Johannesburg.  In the States, it would be Seattle, Philadelphia or DC.

17. When flying, I prefer the window seat.  Not because i like to look out the window, but because I like to use the wall as a pillow.

18. I like almost all fruits, but very few vegetables.

19. I am a very picky eater.  I don’t like my foods to touch other foods.  I also don’t like most sauces.

20. My favorite number 4.  There is no particular reason.  I just like it.

21. I’ll compete at just about anything. 

22. Even though I hate losing.

23. And my biggest fear is failure. 

24. I probably spend more time on my fantasy football team than most people.

25. I hate text messaging.

26. Mostly because I hate improper grammar and refuse to type “2″ instead of “to” or “too.”

27. I also won’t date someone with poor grammar.  My boyfriend must know the difference between “your” and “you’re.”

28. I’ve never been in a serious relationship in my life.  I may have just figured out why.

29. Although I think it is mostly because I’m pretty independent.

30. I’m agnostic.  Organized religion freaks me out.

31. I wash my hair every day.  I know you aren’t suppose to, but I do.

32. And I use Herbal Essences shampoo. 

33. Which Herbal Essences just depends on which one I think smells the best when I’m at the grocery store.  Right now it is Body Envy.

34. And my shampoo and conditioner have to be the same scent.

35. I am a pretty good technical writer, but wish I was a better creative writer.

36. I love lists.  I probably spend more time making lists than actually doing the things on them.

37. I also love to make schedules.

38. I judge books by the cover.

39. I’ve read all of the Harry Potter books and all of the books in James Patterson’s Alex Cross series.

40. If I find something I like, I stick with it. 

41. I don’t really like change. 

42. I once tried to read some of the classics.  I got through 4 pages of Wuthering Heights.

43. The first CD I ever bought was Paula Abdul’s Forever Your Girl.

44. I used to be obsessed with Hanson.

45. Seriously, like, pick-their-grass obsessed.

46. And while I’m past my obsession, I still listen to them all the time.

47. Hanson was also the first concert I ever attended.

48. I love theme parties.

49. My favorite holiday in Halloween.

50. I danced for almost 20 years.  I wanted to be a ballerina when I was little.

51. I still want to be a ballerina.  Or an NFL cheerleader.

52. Because I love sports, especially football.

53. Especially the Raiders.

54. I was the starting quarterback of my high school’s Powder Puff team my junior year.

55. I started at wide receiver as a senior.

56. I love black and white photography.

57. I would like to learn how to play an instrument.

58. And learn another language.

59. Although I can’t decide which language- French? Spanish? German? Swahili?

60. I have a really good long term memory, but sometimes pretend I don’t remember so I don’t seem like a stalker.

61. I was President of Kids Saving Earth in 5^th grade.

62. I got to meet Jane Goodall at a conference as a result.

63. I’ve never smoked a cigarette.  They gross me out.

64. I have fewer teeth than a normal adult because my mouth is too small.  I have 24 teeth for those of you wondering.

65. Up until recently, my drink of choice was vodka.  I am now a whiskey drinker.

66. Because I don’t want to be the girl that only drinks girly drinks.

67. I own about 30 pairs of flip flops.

68. I wear them all the time.  Even in the winter.

69.  In my life as a Hollywood assistant, I was once sent to Megan Fox’s apartment to pick up porn.

70. Christina Aguilera is my idol.

71. I am a registered Democrat, although I float the line between Democrat and Libertarian.

72. I think people should be able to make their own decisions.

73. In second grade, my elementary school did a production of Mary Poppins.  I was a penguin.

74. I hate folding laundry.  I do like mowing and vacuuming, mostly because of the smell.

75. Choosing a career scares me.  I feel like I might get stuck in something I don’t like.

76. Sometimes I think that since I like CSI, I should go back to school and study forensics.

77. Then I remember I can’t touch dead things.  It freaks me out.

78. It is the reason I didn’t study marine biology in college.  Or any science for that matter.

79. I do however, like to shoot guns.  I found that out when I had military science as an elective in college.

80. Cereal is one of my favorite foods.

81. I am very center-brained.

82. My dream car is a 1994 Land Rover Defender 90.

83. David Silver drove one on 90210.  No, that is not why I want one.

84.  I have no problems with nudity, much to the annoyance of a couple of my former roommates. (I love you Terri and Belinda!)

85.  I love the Olympics.  And if Chicago gets 2016, I will find a way to work for them.

86. I’ve seen the Yankees play the Red Sox at Fenway.

87. I once had a pet hedgehog named Tiny.

88. I drive a stick shift.

89. The only thing that I hate about it is that if there is a cup in my cup holder, it gets in the way of shifting.

90. Next time I buy a car, I will definitely consider cup holder placement.

91. I hate feet, and have never gotten a pedicure because I feel bad for the people that give them.

92. I suck in, instead of blowing out, when I whistle.

93. I graduated with honors from college because of my dance credits.

94. My desire to leave Tulsa in largely based on the fact that my mother is here.  We haven’t spoken in three years.  It’s a long story…

95. I’ve had the same best friend since I was 5.

96. I can say “thank you” in 12 languages.

97. And if I ever get stuck in a bar in Indonesia, I’ll be just fine.

98. I hate sneezing.

99.   I wish I owed a bike.

100.  My most embarrassing moment was when I fell on my ass in front of 45,000 people during halftime at a football game.
