Well, I’m headed to Memphis this weekend for Interview #2 for a special events coordinator position with the Memphis Redbirds.  I hate the job searching process.  Cover letters, interviews, all of it.  My last interview lasted over two hours.  It was like a 2 hour quiz over everything that I’m good at.  Or not good at.  Or have never done before.  I really just want someone to read my resume and think, “She’s great.  Let’s just call her and give her the job.”  That can happen, right?

Well, today the job search process made me burn my chicken.  There is this fantastic chicken in the frozen foods section called InnovAsian.  It is supposed to make Asian dishes, such as orange chicken, but most of the time I just eat the chicken by itself.  I put the chicken in the oven, then start wandering around my house, thinking of a cover letter.  I find that if I let a job bounce aorund in my brain for a while, the cover letter portion is a lot easier than if I just sit down and try to write.  Anyway, ideas began flowing and I started writing.  I also completely forgot about my chicken.  Typically, the chicken needs to cook for 20-22 minutes.  I cooked it for 43.  I was hungry and ate it anyway.

And we all know that I can’t let a Wednesday night go by without a little bit on SYTYCD.  Seriously, can we please send Comfort back home?  The guys I’m not as sure about anymore- Mark? Josh? MarkJosh?  I don’t know.  I do know that Cat Deeley must have stolen a giant BeDazzler to make that dress.
