I know several people who have tried online dating, some with more success than others. One of the things that keep me from online dating is when I watch the commercials, I think “Are these people even real?”
I’m am listed on Facebook as single, and if you’re listed as single, you get a billion “Date these men” ads on your screen. I get ‘em all- Date Millionaires, Date Black Men, Date Chrsitian Men, Date Anyone Please- you get the picture. Today, I get this ad-

Agreed, it’s poor practice indeed. This ad must be run by one of our affiliates, as I know we don’t run this ad (and any images we do use are not ’stolen’ from the Web). You’ll likely see a lot of this on Facebook as they don’t use standard ad banners, so affiliates end up creating their own. A lot of times we don’t know what they are using until we are notified or see it ourselves. Especially when serving a specific niche, this is a problem. Thanks for the blog post.
