Clearly, this whole new job/ keep blogging thing isn’t working out very well.  Turns out, having a real grownup job makes me tired.  I got to work, sometimes the gym, watch TV and go to sleep.  And next week I get to work 12 hours a day.  Every day.  Yes, that includes the weekend.  Awesome.

That being said, there are parts of my job that I really like.  There are also parts that I really hate.  Mostly sales.  I don’t even think I can explain how much I hate calling people and trying to make them buy tickets.  My typical sales conversation goes something like this:

Hi! Would you like to hear about our ticket packages?

No.

Okay, bye.

I’ve also learned that I work with a handful of people that are really annoying.  Most of them work in seperate parts of the office, but one in particular works within 15 feet of me.  Another coworker and I like to make fun of him via Facebook chat, and it’s pretty much the only way I get through the day.  Not only is he regularly annoying, but he’s the loudest person I’ve ever met.  I often wonder if he realizes he speaks louder than anyone else on the planet in the office.

But there is some joy in my life, in the form of March Madness.  Aside from the PAC-10, I’ve done pretty well with my bracket.  And since I love winning, the situation puts me in a pretty good mood.

Anyway, I promise I’ll start blogging more.  I also promise hope that the entries will be better than this one.
