A friend of mine posted this story on his news feed today.  Apparently, a Louisiana justice of the Peace has decided he won’t issue marriage licenses to interracial couples.  Why?  Because both racial groups do not accept children from interracial marriages. 

Ok, that makes sense.  No wait. It doesn’t.  At all.   It may well be true that these children are not accepted as well into society.  Guess what?  That’s not the fault of the parents, it’s the fault of idiots like this guy.

I would like to point out to this man that if these two people wanted to have children, they don’t have to be married.  Sperm and eggs don’t know about marriage.
