Hey, thanks for the info on the film festival. I did have one other question…I see that some of the jobs start in November and run thru February. And so, I was wondering if we get to come home for Christmas?

Hey,

I randomly read your blog, and I remember reading it while you were working at the Sundance Film Festival. I’m just wondering how you came about that job, when you applied, if it paid/was volunteer, etc.

I’m interested in working at it in ‘10, but I’m not sure when to apply for a job or what job exactly to apply for. Thanks for any help!

Agreed, it’s poor practice indeed. This ad must be run by one of our affiliates, as I know we don’t run this ad (and any images we do use are not ’stolen’ from the Web). You’ll likely see a lot of this on Facebook as they don’t use standard ad banners, so affiliates end up creating their own. A lot of times we don’t know what they are using until we are notified or see it ourselves. Especially when serving a specific niche, this is a problem. Thanks for the blog post.

Valentines Day has never been a big deal to me, single or not. One of the most fun parties I ever threw was an anti-valentines day one, held for all my single friends who had no other plans that night. That night was more fun than Ive ever had as half of a couple on Feb. 14th.
